For all of our lives, we have loved playing and swimming at the beach together. Your child will share in our family fun, playing in the sand with cousins, aunts, and uncles.
My siblings and I share birthdays, holidays, and many other important occasions together. Since I am the oldest, I have guided them, consoled them, mentored them, and been there for them as they carved out their own paths. And they’ve been there for me in return. I am blessed with 4 amazing children in my immediate family. I have 3 beautiful nieces—Sofia, Ali, and Olivia, and an adorable nephew, Luca. I am a constant in their lives and play an integral role as they continue to grow. Your child will have so much fun spending time with and learning from cousins. They are full of love, silliness, giggles, and games. Each one is unique, yet they share many similar qualities. They are kind, caring, and thoughtful children who get along well together and have a special cousins’ bond. They are very excited at the prospect of an addition to their group.
Cousin Sofia
Sofia is 18 and just graduated from high school. She loves animals and children and intends to become a teacher after college. She is quiet yet confident and comfortable in her skin. She is an excellent artist. She volunteers, over 100 hours per year, to help those who are less fortunate than she. She is very excited about the concept of babysitting for a baby cousin.
Cousin Ali
Ali is 14 and finishing 9th grade. She is an excellent student and, as I was when I was her age, a very high-achiever. Soccer is her passion, and she plays on traveling teams. She’s one of the best players on her teams. Her coaches admire her tenacity and work ethic. She can’t wait to teach her new cousin how to play soccer.
Cousin Olivia
Olivia is 11 and finishing 5th grade. She loves theatre and volleyball. She is smart, funny, strong-willed, and outgoing. She is very perceptive and is a caring older sister who looks out for her brother and sees the world through a mature set of eyes. She is a sweet, passionate, and loyal little girl who finds a common thread with just about everyone she meets. She hopes to share her love of theater with her new cousin.
Cousin Luca
Luca is seven and finishing 2nd grade. He loves sports and to play with any kid, anywhere, anytime. He is “happy go lucky” and loves to give a big heartfelt hug. He loves animals. He has a great sense of humor and always wants to laugh. He will hug, snuggle, laugh, and play with his new cousin every chance he gets.

Five years ago, I brought a beautiful little girl named Olivia (yes, another Olivia!) into my home and my life through a program called the Fresh Air Fund. Olivia lives with her mom and her brother Mark in the Bronx, as I was fortunate enough to be able to introduce her to a backyard and fresh air at my weekend house by the beach. My relationship with Olivia and her family continues to grow, and Olivia is like a goddaughter to me. We see each other all the time!
I have taken her on vacation, to see Broadway shows, to visit museums, and all sorts of special outings (many times Mark comes, too). We even went to Disney World. Olivia lives nearby and cannot wait for me to welcome your baby so that she can have a baby “sister” to teach and babysit.
